FAQ

How do I book a portrait session?

Head on over to the “booking” page above, or by clicking here. You can either select a date for a full portrait session and we can work together to figure out the perfect location and time for your shoot. Or you can select an already pre-determined location/date/time for a shorter mini session.

If you don’t see a date available that works for you, please reach out and I can try to accommodate you.

A $100 (retainer) date reservation fee is due at the time of booking your session. The remainder of your fee is due the date of your session.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR DATE IS NOT OFFICIALLY SAVED UNLESS YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT AND PAY THE $100 DATE RESERVATION FEE WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY POP UP AFTER YOU SELECT YOUR DATE ON THE CALENDAR**

How do I book a wedding?

Please inquire through my contact page to see if I still have your date available. Once confirmed that I am available, I will send over a booking questionnaire to gather more information for your special day. Then you will receive a contract and an invoice to pay the $1,500 non-refundable retainer fee.

What should we wear?

After you book your session, you will get an email full of helpful tips. In that email, you will also get a link to my extremely useful styling site that will allow you to select what colors you’d like to wear and a guide with beautiful, coordinated outfits will pop up and you can order them right from the site! So easy and right from the comforts of your own home!

Can I choose the location for a mini session?

You can choose from one of my already predetermined locations I have set up. I typically have 5 other families booked on mini session days and have to fit them all in on the same afternoon. If you would like to choose your own location, or shoot at your own home without the limitations of a mini session, you will want to book a full session.

How long will it take to get our images back after our shoot?

I usually shoot for getting the images back to you within 2-3 weeks for portrait sessions. Occasionally during my slower season, it may be closer to 1-2. Weddings take 4-6 weeks.

Why are your prints more expensive than if I had them printed on my own at a 1hr photo center?

My images are color corrected and adjusted to reflect the professional printer I use. They will print out beautifully. When you choose a 1hr photo location, you risk the chance of them altering the color or exposure.

A bonus of ordering professional prints from me through your gallery, is that I will remove blemishes and flyaway hairs free of charge. The quality photo paper and archival inks will also last longer than a 1hr photo location.

If I want you to edit my photos to make me slimmer, or add/remove something/someone from the image, can you do that and what is the cost?

I can make any adjustments to your photos that you’d like! I have a wonderfully talented editor that can usually take care of any requests for a reasonable fee. Here is an example of costs:

  1. Remove blemishes, scratches, whitening of teeth etc: $3/image

  2. Headswaps, open eyes etc: $6/image

  3. Take off 10 years or 20lbs, background replacement, add/remove people, remove buildings/cars, etc: $15/image
